A villa, not a hospitality business
la Maison sur mer is not a hotel and not a resort. The villa is privately owned and rented privately — in Italy this is called a Locazione Turistica, registered under CIN IT023086C2ZD8PXKKT. You book directly with the owners, not with a management company.
There is no reception, no on-site staff during your stay, no house rules ringing the doorbell between 8 pm and 9 am. What you get instead: a fully renovated Mid-Century villa, a key-box code for self-check-in, and a personal contact for anything you need.

When you book directly via our website, no booking fees or agency commissions apply. You write to us, we reply personally with an individual offer.

How a booking works
- Inquiry — You write to us via the form on the home page, or directly to sabine@la-maison-sur-mer.com with your desired dates and the number of guests.
- Personal quote — We check availability and calculate an individual price. The offer arrives by email, usually within a few hours.
- Rental agreement — If the offer suits you, we send a two-page short-term rental agreement for signature. In German or English.
- Reservation deposit — Your booking is confirmed once the reservation deposit has reached us. The remaining balance is due before arrival.
- Check-in — Before arrival you receive a code for the key box at the villa. You arrive when it suits you — no waiting for someone to let you in.
